Ticket Prices: $20/per person  or $25 at the door (cash only)

 Event Details:

• Please arrive early – our event will start promptly at 7:00pm.

• If you arrive late, we may not be able to put you into the event and there are no refunds. Adding another person after the event starts disrupts the partner rotation and distracts all participants. Thank you so much for your understanding.

• Ticket is non-refundable. If we postpone the event, we will send a Voucher to every paid participant that can be used for upcoming Christian speed fellowship/dating events. We offer to ALL participants a GUARANTEE to meet a minimum of 5 men or women to speak with during our events. If we do not meet this minimum, you will get a voucher for the next event of your choice, FREE of charge to you.

• Ticket is transferable to the same gender if you cannot attend - please let us know in advance.

• Each person is responsible for his or her own food/drink bill.

• Have fun – no need to be nervous. It is a relaxed way to meet new people in the area and have a good time.

How does it work?

Matchmaking has been a dating and marriage practice for centuries, but American speed dating has been around since 1999, when a Rabbi and his students put a turbo-style twist on the tradition of introducing Jewish singles. The event was a success because the young men and women involved were able to meet more potential partners in one night than they would have in one month of typical dating.

For some Christians finding that perfect mate is on many people's list, but too many Christian singles are busy in life to actually take time out to enjoy it and meet new people. Internet dating is very popular, but it lacks the personal touch that meeting people in person has. There is a rise in the interest of Christian speed fellowship/dating as an alternative to just going online, you get a chance to interact and meet people face to face. It has been said that you know if you like someone the first 30 seconds when you meet them.

Christian speed fellowship/dating is not complicated or expensive. It is when an organizer sets up an event of around 30 to 40 people that would like to meet other Christian singles for fellowship and fun. The rules are pretty basic; the women sit at the tables and every three or four minutes, a whistle is blown, then the men switch tables and sit down with someone new. All participants have a score card and mark their matches as a “yes” or a “no”.  At the end of the event, all scorecards are returned to the host. The next day, you will receive your perfect matches which is, if both of you marked “yes” on the score card. Then you will have the opportunity to contact your perfect matches and plan another meeting.

 About the Organizer:

My name is Dr. Dan Amzallag and I have been hosting speed dating events for almost 12 years in the DMV area. My goal is to create a relaxed, but organized, environment for my guests.

Speed dating events are becoming popular all over the world. Not only do they provide a chance to fellowship but to possibly find love, they are also great for socializing and making new friends, and they can be very fun, too. Come and have fun - try it out!!!
